Tuck Everlasting by: Natalie Babbit

This book is short but like every book I LOVED IT! This book is about a young teenage girl named Winnie Foster, who discovers at least a hundred year old secret. The Tuck family when they moved there, found a spring in a tree. they all drank from it. Later one of the boys fell from a high tree and must have at least broken a few bones, but he hopped up unhurt. turns out they are immortal. Jesse Tuck tries to convince Winnie to dink the water at the age Jesse drank it at so they can be 17 forever together. I do enjoy the movie, if you watch the Disney version, I know the man (Jonathan Jackson) who plays Jesse :). So, great book + great movie, = Amazing story!

School Reads Collection 2019

School Reads:
The School Reads Collection is my reviews of my assigned school reading. As the school year goes on I will continue to add to my School Reads collection. This year we are studying ancient history, so the books will be about greek gods, ancient heroes, and even a saint's voyage. I will (if I remember) continue with my regular book reviews, and these will be add ons.
Enjoy these special reviews!

Between Shades of Gray by: Ruta Sepetys

Between Shades of Gray is NOT 50 shades of gray. Two different books. The reason I say that, is because a lot of times when I say between the shades of gray and how great of a book it is people are like 50 shades of gray? No Between the shades of gray. I know I say this a lot but it is such a good book! There are few books I don’t like. This book is about a girl her mother and her brother and how they survived the German prison camps. Similar to Corrie Ten Boom (click Here To read my post on her book) they are moved from camp to camp mercilessly. If you read this book, I think it is necessary to say that you need to read the afterword of this book. It gives more of an ending to it. Well it might be a part of the book. i dont know. But anyway it is longer but worth it.
Have you read this book?

Summer Plans. Mine and Yours

Hey guys! As summer is approaching, we start to make plans, create goals, and as I was thinking of things. I want to do this summer, I thought what do you guys want to do this summer? what are some things you want to get done? do you already have vacation plans? or are you staying at home? do you have a summer bucket list like me? If you don't, but want one here's what I've got.
- Have some friends over to spend the night,
- Read at least 20 books, or come as close to it as possible,
- Work on my blog
- Have an awesome time at summer camp 💜Camp St. Thekla💜
- Learn to play Solfeggio in C minor on piano
It might be short but hey, summer sadly doesn't last forever. It will probably change, but that's what I got so far! Let me know what you summer plans/goals are!

A Walk To Remember By; Nicholas Sparks

Happy June!
Last Year about february A Wrinkle in time came out. You are probably thinking, What does A Wrinkle in Time have to do with A Walk To Remember? Well I am getting there. So i emailed a few of my friends and asked them if they would read A.W.I.N. With me and then go see the movie together. So we read it and thus my Book Club was born. So we have been steady going for a while, we have been going for 18 months now. Ok this months book is A Walk To Remember. I started it late at night read ten pages, picked it up the next day and finished it before 6;00. i hope that reflects the fact that it is good. I enjoyed the characters, and to be honest I went in to the book knowing it was a romance. So knew they wouldn't be in love already..... ya know stuff like that! I was a little thrown off when he started saying how annoying and weird this girl was, i mean why would he say stuff like that. I started thinking that she was the weird girl no one likes and he would fall for a cheerleader or something. but overall I love the story, how he reacts to things, and her sense of humor. i hope I didn't   give some of the book away. I probably did. but there are always more surprises. :)
overall i absolutely loved this book.
how many of you have read this book?
i hope at least Olivia, Ana, Ava, and Lydia have! (they are in the Book Club I took forever explaining)

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

This book like many, reflects christianity when you dig.  I am taking a class on how to dig and find christianity! this book is about a shepherd without a known name, who is trying to find and accomplish his personal dream.  The book starts with sort of a recount of his past.  His love for the merchants daughter, whom he will see in a couple of days, and why he is a shepherd.  How he goes from being a simple shepherd and protecting sheep, to being a traveler searching for his souls delight. I really enjoyed this book and I feel like the author really has a way of drawing you in and keeping you there.  It was such an interesting book.  I really think that this book is for older children and adults, maybe 12 or 13+.
Happy Memorial Day!
